Last night at the Oscars, guests showed out styled in the finest vintage and vintage inspired gowns. Daring to be different was a major theme last night; and what better way to create a conversation starter than with a vintage piece.

Archival pieces have become a popular red carpet staple in the past few years. The rise of vintage gowns has sparked an emergence of custom gowns that are inspired by archival pieces; creating a lane for vintage-inspired pieces to stand in.

Vintage and vintage-inspired gowns on the red carpet exude sophistication, elegance, a hint of sexiness, and that old Hollywood glamour that everyone finds mesmerizing. Last night, these gowns granted guests with the opportunity to serve one of a kind pieces, that simultaneously allow them to express their individuality; and showcase a different aspect of their personal self-expression.
